The company was founded in 1906 in Hamburg producing writing products, especially luxurious, elegant fountain pens.
The setting in an elongated, slightly faceted shape, with inscriptions on the ring-shaped gold cap: "Montblanc Meisterstuck" and "GY2091664 GERMANY". On the nib: "4810 / the letter "M" in a circle - in a 6-lobed outline and the gold sample: "14 K / MONTBLANC" and additionally on the rim the marking: "F". Ink filling by means of a piston.
