The decanter and glasses are made of high quality thin glass in bottle green. The feet of the glasses are female figures made of white milky glass held in a dancing attitude pose with the leg bent forward. On their raised hands, the women support semicircular bowls, the outline of which is repeated in the part of the base. An identical figure of a dancer is located inside the decanter. It is merged with a slightly inwardly uplifted bottom. The decanter is placed on three milky white, slightly curved legs. The vessel has a shapely oval belly. The neck of the decanter is narrow and finished with a subtle spout. It is decorated with a small ear (in the neck part) made of milk solids.
The Lauscha factory has been in existence since 1853. Since the beginning of the manufactory, glass has been produced there by hand, using traditional methods. The equipment used in the factory to make glass is also traditional, no industrial equipment is used. Products made in Lauscha from soda glass are easier to work with thanks to their lower melting point, which makes it possible to achieve incredibly malleable and delicate shapes. In addition, glass of this provenance is characterized by an interesting and diverse range of colors.
