Business card holder from the Biedermeier [British] period. 19th century.
Dimensions: 10 x 6.3 cm. Business card holder made of calf leather, richly embossed and gilded. In the central part of the face added double floral application painted on mesh, enclosed in decorative gilded border. On the other side of the bag a repeated embossed and gilded motif from the face.
When opened, the business card holder unfolds and turns into a weekly calendar in English, with space for notes and time planning throughout the week. Original pencil has been added.
Condition: abrasions of leather and loss of floral decoration on the face, the joint between the notebook and the rest of the business card holder is badly abraded. Notes in pencil.
