silk fabric, black, with grosgrain weave; silk lining, beige; calfskin; binding - pr. 4 (585) gold; ball card with mirror; 16 x 15 cm.
Austria, Vienna, monogrammed "J.G.", after 1921.
Purse in the form of a flat pouch of circular shape, made of black ribbed silk fabric with light beige silk lining. It is framed at the top by a binding: an arched trim of gold, engraved with floral motifs, with a snap lock and attached in the middle a handle - a loop, made of the same grosgrain fabric as the whole. Inside there is a beige lining. In addition, a ball card, also beige, in the form of a rectangular envelope, with an inset mirror panel (the fabric of the interior and the card partly damaged).
On the gold setting - Austrian punches (in force since 1921/1922) for gold pr. 4, with the head of a dog and the letter "W" (Vienna). Separately stamped sample "585", and in the oval - goldsmith's name mark with monogram: "J. G.".
