Lot information
"GUMI MYRRH. refers to myrrh resin. Myrrh (myrrh) is a natural resin that is often used in medicine and religious rituals for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. GUMI is probably derived from "gummi", which is Latin for resin or gum. SEM: PAPAV. ALB. means "white poppy seed" (Papaver album). The poppy was traditionally used as a sedative or analgesic. Both containers are bordered with gold and red ornaments, making the containers elegant and traditional an appearance that is typical of pharmaceutical equipment of the time. Despite the visible wear and tear, the containers retain their historic charm and original character."
