Journal / travel notebook - 19th century Austria / Vienna

Lockable ( lock works) leather journal with fine decorations [ gilt bronze].

The whole consists of a section with an unwritten notebook in the left part, compartments for documents, banknotes etc. in the middle part and a place for a pen, letter knife, ruler, pencil, lac [ writing instruments made of ivory] on the right side.

Condition of preservation overall very good, small rips and soiling. Center lined with blue velvet.

Format : 16 x 22 [cm].
