Biography
Wladyslaw Trelewski was a Gniezno artist active in the 19th century. He was an important figure for Gniezno, as he described the history of Greater Poland. Trelewski was primarily engaged in court portrait painting. He painted the crowned heads of the Republic. Most of his works were destroyed during the wars.
