Biography
The character of the Toro region as interpreted by the famous producer Vega Sicilia. Pintia 2017 is the product of a rather difficult vintage, and the result of a new strategy to produce lighter wines. With less new barrel and softer extraction, in this case the wine is balanced, full of energy and freshness. It still retains all the qualities with which Pintia delights: it is ripe, juicy, powerful and deep. Forest fruits, herbs, a nicely blended barrel throughout. Still whispery today, but with great potential for maturation, further increased by the magnum bottling.
