Biography
Full-bodied, open, intense. Harmony of red and black fruits with a hint of mint somewhere in the background, sun-baked stones and smoke giving the whole a bit of sweetness. Concentrated and expressive thanks to the hot vintage, but very precisely structured, so it doesn't lose its freshness and energy at all.
Tignanello is also by far the best price/quality ratio among all Supertoscans. The price-to-class ratio of the wine and the critics' ratings, as well as the ever-growing reputation of the producer, make the purchase of Tignanello likely to prove a good investment.
