On tasting, notes of sweet fruitcake, apricot, citrus and also earthy notes appear on the tongue, and light notes of wax can also be felt. On the nose, one can smell a pleasantly grassy and floral aroma with notes of green pear, honey, fresh fruit as well as earth and peat. On the palate one can sense a balanced plum and biscuit sweetness. The finish is long and slightly peppery, enhanced by the sharpness of the stem ginger. Estimated price: £550-650
