The Roberto Voerzio estate was established in the 1980s,
quickly becoming one of the leading producers. The public has come to appreciate the attention and thoroughness with which Voerzio manages his vineyards, as well as the courage and elegance with which he puts modern techniques to work.
Voerzio operates in La Morra, and the wines created under this name are known for their concentration and intense aromas. This style is achieved here through limited harvesting and short maceration and maturation in French barrels. Barolo from Roberto Voerzio are known for their expressive character regardless of age - the wines are attractive both when young and after many years of aging. The producer's characteristic aromas include dark fruits, lots of expressive spices and sweet notes of flowers.
