Domaine Michelot, Meursault 0.75L 14%, 2019 vintage; The Domaine Michelot winery has been family owned for six generations. The Michelot family are specialists in excellent Meursault Chardonnay wines. They produce world-renowned wines on the Côte de Beaune. Old Chardonnay vines grow on gravelly and rocky limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand, then pressed and fermented in partially new oak barrels after a short maceration process. Domaine Michelot, Meursault - a white wine with a clear straw yellow color, offers complex, elegant notes of ripe stone fruits and tropical fruits such as apricot, peach, quince, papaya and pineapple, as well as delicate banana notes. The wine is accented by light notes of butter and yeast, as well as other secondary aromas such as delicate vanilla and subtle oak wood tones.
