Barolo, Piedmont
Comments
The Ceretto family is a very important player in Barolo, siding with the expression of single sites in its wines. Since its founding in the 1930s, it has maintained its family character and stayed true to its original intentions.
Ceretto wines are known for the elegance and grace with which they serve quite intense aromas. Their ability to tell the story of the character of the habitat in which the fruit was developed and the way the wines become open and attractive from a young age is extremely appreciated. The selection of barrels for maturation is dictated by the character of the wine, it is not treated dogmatically here.
