Moonraker is an absolutely extraordinary champagne, released to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the collaboration between the famous agent and Bollinger. It is based on fruit harvested in the 2007 vintage (and it was an exceptionally successful vintage for Bollinger, as evidenced by the quality of other labels from that year) and packaged in an extraordinary case.
An excellent wine and a treat for Bond fans. Only 407 pieces of this version were made, and the chest, mimicking the space shuttle in which Bond flew into space in the film Moonraker, was designed by Ken Adam and is made of French oak and pewter alloy, and includes a crystal champagne bucket and a magnum bottle of Bollinger.
