Distillery description
Bladnoch, located in the Lowlands, was founded in 1817 by the McClelland brothers. After its official decommissioning in 1993, it was purchased a year later by two brothers from Northern Ireland, who initially planned to convert it into a holiday home but resumed production on a smaller scale. Their plans faced legal issues with Diageo. In 2015, Australian businessman David Prior purchased the distillery and resumed full production in 2017. Known for its light and floral profile, Bladnoch remains a celebrated producer of Lowland whisky. Bottle description
