These include Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Kerner, Grüner Veltliner, Müller-Thurgau and Schiava. All are well adapted to the cooler conditions of northern Italy. Two dessert wines are produced from Moscato Rosa and Kerner. Praepositus is a dry white wine with a bright golden yellow color with distinct green highlights. The taste and aroma are noticeable with ripe pears, apricots, lilac flowers and coriander. Lagrein, produced by Novacella Abbey, is an intense, full-bodied red wine made from the South Tyrolean grape variety of the same name, which is experiencing a period of considerable success among wine lovers thanks to its strong personality. It is a label belonging to the winery's classic line, designed to bring out the aromas of all grape varieties and show the authentic face of the grape. Lagrein presents itself with typical notes of red fruits, pleasantly rough tannins and good freshness. Estimated price: £315-380
