4.5% IWANGOROD-DOMBROW Railway Bond. This was one of the largest railroad investments in the Russian partition in the 19th century. The line connected militarily and economically important cities of the Polish Kingdom: Deblin (Ivangorod), Radom, Kielce, Olkusz, Slawkow, Dabrowa (Górnicza). The tsar gave his approval for the construction in 1881.The first section from Deblin to Kielce was opened in 1883, while the section from Kielce to Dabrowa was launched in 1885.Thanks to this line, the Dabrowa Zagłębie experienced a significant boost to development. The Staropolska Basin, on the other hand, avoided total collapse thanks to the supply of raw materials from the Dabrowa Basin. At 469.1 kilometers, the IWANGRODZ-DĄBROWSKAYA railroad was the longest railroad line in the Kingdom of Poland. A unique testimony to the history of railroading in the Polish lands.
