Frydrych was a painter and educator. In 1915-18 he graduated from the State Male Teachers' Seminary. Since the early lat. 20s he worked as a teacher in Tarnów district schools. He moved to Warsaw in 1925, where he studied at the Institute of Visual Arts under Waclaw Borowski and Wladyslaw Skoczylas. In the following years he took up teaching positions. In 1934 he moved permanently to Bydgoszcz. After 1945, he worked there as a teacher and artist. As a painter, he primarily created landscapes and urban views. He practiced drawing and painting, and less often graphics. He organized plein-air expeditions to Greater Poland, Bydgoszcz, Malopolska and the Borderlands. After the war, he traveled to Yugoslavia and Italy.
