The Krasnals is a controversial group formed on 01.04.2008 by anonymous artists titling themselves as: Whielki Dwarf, Bansky Dwarf Halabala 1 and Halabala 2 and also collaborating: Painter from China, Painter from Odessa or Painter from Krupówki. The value for them is freedom of creative expression. They oppose the commercialization of art. They are creators of provocative artistic actions, they show the relationship between the creator and the viewer bypassing political correctness and social conventions. In their creative actions they comment on reality, current political and social events and often mainstream events related to contemporary art or pop culture. Their works are not devoid of ambiguous humor, often also irony. The group is associated with the current of critical art initiated in the 1990s. The works of The Krasnals group can be found, among others, in collections: MOCAK - Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow, Silesian Museum in Katowice, Museum of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.
