Biography
Polish painter and stage designer. Already in the young years of his life he had a lush imagination, which manifested itself in his paintings. The way he created his youthful works influenced his adult work. Jerzy Groszang began studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow after graduating from elementary and high school. There he spent several years of his youthful life and gained the experience needed for painting and stage design, as this was what he wanted to do in the future. He was most fond of painting with watercolors. It took him not much more than half an hour to create such a painting, because he did not use sketches and did not correct anything in an already painted picture. It took him a while to find an idea for a painting, as they were scenes from everyday life.
