Biography
The artist is a native of Pomerania. During her stay in the US, she graduated with honors in Art at Stratford Career Institute. She honed her workshop as a member of the Long Island Art League. After returning to Poland, she opened the Rumska Painting Studio and is a founding member and secretary of the Association of Artists "Passionate". She is co-author of the "Artists for Education" and "Rumski Plenera Malarska" projects. Numerous exhibitions, collective and individual, as well as participation in plein-air events in Poland and abroad (Italy, Jordan, Cyprus), are an important part of the artist's life.Jola Kitowska is a person enchanted by the world of the African savannah. After a trip to Africa, she began painting the Kenyan series, largely based on silhouettes of animals and people of this distant continent. New forms of expression emerged, and the artistic exploration also shifted to the exotic nature of other countries visited.
