Anna Rutkowska (b.1996, Warsaw)
graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts (in the painting studio of Prof. J. Modzelewski, with a specialization in the studio of Dr. J. Mioduszewski) in 2020, winning the Coming Out award for the best diploma. Finalist in Hestia's Artistic Journey (2020), New Image-New Look (2022), Leon Wyczółkowski Painting Competition (2022).
Painter, performer, karateka. She is constantly looking for new subjects, agricultural machinery and her own experiences are just one of them.
"I'm interested in forms, compositions, juxtapositions of undefined meaning, possible for open interpretation. I don't want to impose literal meanings leaving freedom of perception. I create mainly in the technique of yolk tempera on canvas and paper. Painting is a form of survival for me. As an artist, I look for new matter for my paintings." Anna Rutkowska
