One-sided typescript on ark. 22.3x18 cm, three more pages blank. Text in French. The author of the letter, on behalf of the Emperor, thanks you for your New Year's wishes. He apologizes for the delay in correspondence due to the busyness of his work and reciprocates the wishes. Under the text handwritten signature "W. Ledóchowski". Very good condition.
W. Ledóchowski (1865-1933) - colonel of the Imperial and Royal Army cavalry, c. k. chamberlain, fligel adjutant to the Emperor of Austria and the King of Hungary. "After the fall of the Monarchy, he accompanied Emperor Charles and Empress Zita in exile in Switzerland serving as the Emperor's adjutant.
