Estreicher does not specify, in BN only the Olivet edition of 1686. - The first part of the work includes a collection of sermons for feasts throughout the liturgical year (divided into winter and summer seasons). The second part consists of occasional sermons intended to be preached on such occasions as baptism, election to office, marriage blessing or armed expedition. A separate treatment was given to funeral sermons - for the death of a woman or a man, taking into account different states. It was given the imprimatur of the Bishop of Vilnius Nicholas Stefan Pac (1623-1684) and the royal preacher and at the same time the superior of the Jesuits in Lithuania Wojciech Cieciszewski (1604-1675). This edition is evidence of Tylkowski's readership in the West. Wojciech Tylkowski: see previous entry.
Wear and scratches to the binding, undated signboards and library markings. Block with slight traces of moisture, otherwise very nice and clean.
