As we remember Bellerophont , in Greek mythology, Bellerophont was a hero, a Corinthian king; the hero of Homer's Iliad. He was believed to be the son of Poseidon and Eurynome and managed to tame Pegasus and with his help kill Chimera. Sent to war with the Amazons, he returned from it in triumph.
