A comprehensive work in three volumes (in 1 volume) on Austrian inheritance law and French claims to the Spanish monarchy; also includes a description of the Spanish provinces. The copperplate engravings include a portrait of Charles III of Spain, as well as views and plans of Barcelona, Gibraltar, Escurial, Palamos and Andalusia. Johann Joachim Müller (1665-1731) - a German scholar and historian, became famous for his planned description of the Reichstag from the time of Frederick III to Rudolf II, but the work could not be completed. He was the son of a Weimar archivist, and took over the same position after his death. Abrasions, no. losses and cracks in the binding, handwritten notes on the coverlet, in places non. traces of woodworm, dampstains and stains, single pages with folds, title page and part of copperplate loose, traces of dampstains, folding boards with non. tears and loss of edges, one plate torn, pp. 257-272 in 3 parts in wrong order.
