KURHANOV O[skar] - Americans in Japan. Warsaw 1950, Military Press Publishing House. 16d, pp. XXI, [1], 200, [1]. Bibliot. pp. binding.
Good condition. Stamp. Translation and introduction by Daniel Trylewicz. Report of a journalist of the Moscow "Pravda" on a visit to Japan. "The purpose of the trip [...] was to find an answer to the question: whether and to what extent the liquidation of Japanese fascism is taking place, whether and to what extent General Mac Arthur's announcement about the democratization of Japan under American occupation is being realized. He found this answer - it was negative" (from the introduction). Fortunately, "the coalition of Japanese reaction with American military circles is powerless against the democratic aspirations of the Japanese people." As an aside: countries occupied by the US are occupied by it, countries occupied by the USSR are liberated by it. No exceptions to this rule.
