Single-sided print in German, Belarusian and Polish on ark. 28.8x53 cm. Print from the time of the great pacification action carried out in the Bialowieza Forest region. It was forbidden to take horses, harnesses, carts, scythes, pitchforks, hoes, sacks and baskets. Confiscated cattle, sheep and pigs had to remain in the village. "In July-August 1941, the German 322nd police battalion displaced the residents of about 40 villages, mostly burning them completely and looting livestock, crops and all possessions. Orchards were cut down and wells were filled in. A total of 7036 people were displaced and 601 were murdered" (Wikipedia). Slight corner loss, vertical folds of the sheet, small tears on the fold.
