Steel barrel, octagonal, large caliber. Cap-shaped lock with dolphin-shaped cock, decorated similarly to the lock plate and trigger guard - with engraving with floral motifs. Walnut bed, long, flask with a tang incised in a fine checkering; on the back of the handle an oval silver cartouche for the coat of arms or initials of the owner. Beneath the barrel a bedded, metal sleeve-covered after-barrel. On the bottom of the barrel, gunsmithing marks of the Tower manufactory of 1797; Birmingham.
