Regulations governing work in a factory near Poznań: "Day work usually begins at 6 o'clock in the morning and ends at 6 o'clock in the evening," "Neither the employer nor the worker shall terminate work, and the breaking of the working relationship may therefore take place at any time," "Smoking in the yard and factory buildings [...] is forbidden," "If anyone is drunk at work, he shall be expelled immediately." Appendix I of 1901 introduced a 14-day notice period, while Appendix II of 1904 restored the status quo allowing termination without notice.
