Maria Helena Morstin-Górska née Raciborska, coat of arms Leliwa (born July 9, 1893 in Pławowice, died October 14, 1972 in Kraków) - Polish poet, publicist and translator. She was the daughter of Count Ludwik Morsztyn and his wife Amelia. On August 28, 1923 in Pławowice she married Franciszek Górski. They had two children, Ludwik Górski and Anna Górska. She studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Jagiellonian University in 1912-1914 and after the end of World War I. After her studies, she began working with various periodicals: the Cracow-based "Czas", "Pamiętnik Warszawski", "Verbum" and "Pax". Since 1927 she was a member of the Professional Union of Polish Writers. After World War II, she worked with "Tygodnik Powszechny" (1945-1952, 1957-1962, 1967-1972). Since 1962 she was a member of the editorial team of "Znak" magazine. She is the author of collections of poetry: Elegies of Autumn (1917), Sursum Corda (1920), Flashes of the Lantern (1922), Circle of Love (1929), Poetry. A Selection (1974). She also translated Sigrid Undset's novels: Gymnadenia and The Burning Bush, and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's: Earth, the homeland of men.
