Original.The painting depicts a Benedictine monk holding a statue of the Virgin Mary and a monstrance.The scene refers to the events of 1793, when one of the monks brought the statue of the Virgin Mary out of a fire. This is informed by an old inscription on the reverse. Painting with losses. Dimensions of the painting 14,5 x 10,5 cm. good state of preservation.
