Map of Crimea with appurtenances by Gerard Mercator. The map comes from "Atlas sive Cospographicae Meditationes de Fabrica Mundi" published by Jodocus Hondius in Amsterdam in 1606. Title in oval cartouche in upper right corner. Above the lower frame, slightly to the left a single linear scale and annotation of the publisher. Cartographic grid applied. Line and surface color (contemporary?). On the back Latin text in two columns "Tavrica Chersonesus", paog. 101, sheet no. Qq. Center fold glued from underneath, minor stains.
