Graduate of Design at the Faculty of Industrial Forms and the Faculty of Intermedia at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. She studied Painting and Art History at the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies, University of Leeds, England. Currently, her main form of expression is performance art and art-activism, addressing themes of social inequality, human rights, animals and ecology. River White in the River Sisters Collective. She works in graphic design, illustration and analog photography. Creates graphics and animations for projections of theatrical performances (including for the Arlekin Puppet Theater in Lodz, Juliusz Słowacki Theater in Krakow, and PZLPiT "Mazowsze"). Since 2019, he has been running Zuchy Studio.

The photo is part of the "Femm(e)motion" analog photography series, and the woman embracing the tree is Hungarian performer Viktória Monhor. A series of photographs documenting the performance actions of five female artists: Viktória Monhor (Hungary), Liping Ting (Taiwan), Marilyn Arsem (USA), Dandan Wang (China) and Marta Bernardes (Portugal), in which the expressiveness of women's emotions and their strong impact on the viewer were the
Monika Tomaszewska's main inspiration. The photographs were taken on 13-14.06 2018 during Performance Train Krakow - one of the events accompanying the TRANSART'30 festival. "Femme(e)motion" is a cluster-game of typographic or fun
derived from the attempts of concrete poetry, which combines woman, emotion and movement.
