A group of anonymous artists associated with the critical art trend initiated
in the 1990s. In their creative activities
comment on reality, current political and social events and
often mainstream events related to contemporary art or
pop culture. Their works are not devoid of ambiguous humor, sometimes
also irony. Nevertheless, the goal of The Krasnals Group's activities is to highlight
the events and topics that bother them, without explicitly declaring,
on which side of the depicted event they stand. The Dwarnals,
in addition to their artistic activities, express themselves widely on the blog they run
their blog. In 2009, The Dwarnals Group, which includes:
Great Dwarf, Dwarf Halabala 1 and 2, Dwarf Banksy and collaborative painters,
was nominated for the Polityka Passports. At the time, their painting
was used in Piotr Uklański's installation presented
at the Tate Modern. In 2011, the first issue of the Art
Police Gazette," which premiered at the Venice Art Biennale.
In 2012, their monumental work "Battle of Grunwald
/ Ship of Fools" The works of The Krasnals Group can be found in collections
among others: MOCAK - Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow, Silesian Museum
in Katowice, the Museum of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.
