Western Europe, France?, 2nd half of 19th century.
On an oval walnut-chestnut medallion plaque, girded with bone cord, placed a wooden cross on which a figure of the Crucified One made of bone; above his head a bone plaque with the inscription "INRI". On the sides, decorative handles for attaching a suspension made of braided cord with tangs. Condition: a fragment of the decorative bone frame at the bottom of the plaque is missing.
