Scene featuring nine naked putti around a wine barrel with chalices, bottles and jugs - against the background of a hill with castle architecture. The whole framed by a carved wooden frame; around it a wide belt lined with engraved bone plates with a motif of stylized tendrils and shells (in the mannerist grotesque type). At the bottom of the frame a plaque with the inscription:
"Ferdinando Pogliani / Mobili artistici eda studio / Milano-Monte Napoleone,15".
Ferdinando Pogliani - a famous Milanese ebenist, ran a furniture workshop with his sons Giusepp, Paolo and Carlo.
