Central Europe, 1st half of the 19th century.
Figure in armor and helmet, with red mantle on his shoulders; in his right hand a wooden fossa with pouring water; in his left hand a flag spar with the sign of the cross.
The back of the sculpture is hollow, inside the hollow there are inscriptions testifying to successive restorations (1861, 1917, 1967). Preservation condition: good, visible cracks in left hand and lack of one finger, sculpture after conservation. Provenance: from a private collection.
