Andrzej Czeczot was a cartoonist, caricaturist, stage designer and illustrator. Considered one of the most important authors of press drawings, he was known mainly for his satirical works published in "Szpilki", "Ty i Ja" and "Polityka", among others. His drawings were also published in the foreign press, including "The New Yorker" in the USA and "Pardon" in Germany. In addition to satirical drawing, he has also been involved in book illustration, book design and the creation of short animated films.
