A. Jackowski (1920-2017) - art critic, anthropologist of culture, outstanding expert on naive and folk art, lecturer at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology at Warsaw University, for 48 years editor-in-chief of the quarterly "Konteksty. Polish Folk Art." He is the author of many books, including: "On Sculptures and Sculptors" (1998) and "Polish Folk Art" (2002).
