A magnificent collection of glass figurines designed by the eminent Czech designer Jaroslav Brychta. Brychta's figurines were also quite popular in Poland during the interwar years, as evidenced by articles in the pre-war press, as well as iconography available in archives. The National Digital Archive has in its collection a photograph of a Polish residential interior decorated with a figurine by a Czech designer ("Diana"). We include it among the auction photos.
A very interesting article on Brychta and Czech glassware was devoted by Tadeusz Seweryn in "Rzeczy Piękne" of 1931 (Rzeczy Piękne 1931, R. 10, z. 4-6)
