A legal dissertation on the relationship between doctor and patient, published in Danzig in the famous Danzig printing house of David Frederick Rethe, by M. D. Laurens of Trzebiatow on Rega, defended before a committee chaired by J. Schulze, professor of the distinguished Academic Gymnasium in Dan zig. The Academic Gymnasium was founded in 1558; it was the only one of the best schools in Europe, ranked above elementary schools; its graduation guaranteed immediate admission to the third year of university studies.
