BIO ARTISTS:
Magdalena Karłowicz, born 1978 in Wyszków. Sculptor and illustrator living and working in the Mazovian countryside. A graduate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, majoring in sculpture; she obtained her diploma with honours in 2004 in Prof. Maciej Szańkowski's studio. She was awarded Prof. Adolf Ryszka prize for the best student of sculpture in the academic year 2002/2003. Apart from sculpture, the artist also works in drawing and graphics. Karłowicz has had several solo exhibitions and several group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. She is an active participant of plein-airs, symposia and art fairs.
