SLUBICE. Palace.
Format:9x13.5cm.
The palace was built before 1789 for Jozef Mikorski, Chamberlain of Gostynin, Castellan of Raven, Count of Prussia, and his wife Krystyna of Miaskowskis. The project was prepared by architect Hilary Szpilowski. Then the palace belonged to their son Jan Chryzostom and then grandson Roman. Until the end of World War II, the palace changed owners several more times. After the end of hostilities, a militia post and then a school were located in the palace. After 1970, when schools were moved out of the palace, the monument began to fall into disrepair. In 1992 a thorough renovation began, initiated by a new private owner, who plans to use the building for tourist purposes.
