Painter associated with the Wroclaw art community. He was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and held a two-year scholarship in Paris. After the war he settled in Wroclaw. He was a professor at the local Academy of Fine Arts. Most often he took up battle themes, painted portraits of horses, hunting, racing, as well as Wroclaw landscapes.
