Grade: Good VF / almost XF; very rare variant.

Luscius Roscius Fabatus belonged to the plebeian gens Roscii. He was probably born around 95-90 B.C. in Lanuvium, a city known for its temple and the cult of Juno Sospita. He began his political career as a moneyer in 64 BC. That is why the obverse of this coin features Juno Sospita and the reverse depicts her cult in Lanuvium.
