This peacock sculpture by Bronisław Chromy, both exceptionally grand and exquisitely refined in form, is crafted from patinated bronze. The artist frequently drew on animal motifs in his work. In addition, he created numerous monumental sculptures dedicated to history and martyrdom, as well as to science, music, and culture. His works can be found in many cities around the world: Ravenna, Oslo, Skopje, Bochum, Arezzo, Helsinki, Paris, New York, Madrid, Moscow, and Barcelona. The sculptor was also involved in poetry, and his poems were published in the collection *Słowem rzeźbione* (Kraków 2013). The artist also wrote an autobiography titled *Stone and Dream* (Kraków 2005).
