"Small Journal" - a news and journalism daily published from 1935-1939 in Niepokalanów. It was founded and was published by the Franciscan Fathers, on the initiative of Father M. Kolbe. It was a daily, sensationalist newspaper (advertising itself as "using healthy sensationalism"), addressed to a wide audience, anti-communist and anti-liberal. It was influenced by journalists associated with the Oboz Narodowo-Radkalny (journalism with anti-Semitic overtones).
It did not have the character of a strictly religious magazine, but nevertheless supported the current policies of the Catholic Church. Due to its low price and support from the clergy, it quickly achieved a high circulation, placing it among the leading Polish news dailies in this respect. The editor-in-chief was Father M. Wojcik. Circulation of up to 120 thousand pieces.
